Kid Sublime is most known for his “Tea For Two” release on Zephon’s Mom some years back as well as being the main producer for Rednose Distrikt. Jahwell is a new sub label of Rush Hour, on which only Kid Sublime will release his 4 to the floor house orientated releases. All releases will be about raw, sexy grooves. Releases will be limited to 750 copies. For fans of Theo Parrish, KDJ an alike. One side is Kid Sublime’s take on the huge “Feelings” track by Meikbar. It has a similar tempo & vibe, due to the crowd noises & vocal hooks. The other side is a slow ass burner that will make Theo Parrish jealous. Success guaranteed.

Rotating Assembly is a new band put together by Theo Parrish. This loose Detroit outfit evolves around 21 people, who exchange talents and energy. All tracks are written and produced and masterminded by Theo Parrish, who has given them his (sound) signature sound… A true Sound Signature release. Artists included in the band are: Genevieve (known for vocals with Recloose), Maat Lo (aka Billy Lo), Marcellus Pittman (recorded/DJ’s for/with 3 Chairs), Rick Wilhite (3 Chairs), Warren Harris (recorded with Dan Curtin), Andres. Also newcomers such as Karen Bosco (most vocals) John Dougalas (trumpet), King Sunshine & Trent Mitchell (double bass) put in incredible effort to make this release a top Sound Signature title. From the laidback vocal tune “Naturally” to the instrumental emotions of “Melt” it’s all there to make this album an allround one. GERARDO FRISINA - HI NOTE (SCHEMA RECORDS)
Questo album (che contiene undici nuove composizioni più la cover di Harrington “Beyond The Moon”) rappresenta uno sviluppo del suono latino personal-Frisina-jazz che rende questa produzione ottima. Diversamente dal suo album precedente, ci son un grande numero di contributi: Luigi Bonafede, con Gerardo dai tempi del progetto "Neos", Andrea Dulbecco e Emanule Cisi. La presenza di questi jazz players molto competenti han sciolto progressivamente gli elementi listening/lounge scontati delle produzione easy contemporanee, verso il calore latino e jazz puro.
This album (containing eleven new compositions plus the cover of Harrington’s “Beyond The Moon”) represents an evolution of the personal Latin jazz sound that makes this artist’s productions so distinguished. Differently from his previous album, in the new one there is a larger number of contributions by many musicians: first and foremost Luigi Bonafede, with Gerardo since the times of the “Neos” project, Andrea Dulbecco (already present in “Ad Lib”) and Emanule Cisi (on sax). The presence of these very proficient jazz players coincided, in a cause and effect relationship with the progressive dismissal of the easy listening/lounge stylist elements in favor of the recovery of the warmth of Latin jazz.
